We at the Real Team are able to offer specialist support from dedicated tutors, SENCOs and educational psychologists who have an in-depth working knowledge of the education sector.

 

Real Training's team of professional course tutors come with a wealth of experience to provide your SENCO with the dedicated support they’ll need to achieve the award.

 

Siobhan Mellor has worked as a teacher and educational psychologist. She has worked in a variety multi-disciplinary teams within the Local Authority to assess the complex needs of children. She has been the lead tutor for Real Training from 2005. She also writes expert witness reports.

 

Martin Truckle has held teaching, Head of Department and SENCo positions in secondary schools in London and the Midlands. Martin has special school experience and is a governor of a primary school and is currently an Independent Education Advisor.

 

Celine Barry has over 20 years teaching experience in the areas of Inclusion and Special Education and is a former Assistant Head Teacher and Inclusion Manager within a large London Comprehensive School.

 

Christine Mytton is a teacher with over 30 years of experience in primary and 'First' schools. She is currently SENCO in 2 Primary Schools.

 

Yasmin Ajmal has worked as a primary teacher, an Educational Psychologist and school counsellor. She has worked with the Brief Therapy Practice on Solution Focused approaches and ran workshops in the UK and Europe. She co-wrote the first British text (Solution Focused Thinking in Schools).

 

Helen Sonnet is a teacher and author with over thirty years experience in education. She has worked across the education sector. She worked extensively with Jenny Mosley during the 1990’s to develop her Quality Circle Time model and has published over 20 books. She is a member of a panel of 'experts' for LDA (Educational publishers and suppliers) advising on PSHE.

 

Helene Cohen has extensive experience of teaching across primary, secondary, maintained and independent schools. She is currently AENCO for an independent junior school.

 

Penny Frost has been a SEN teacher in maintained and independent schools and is now SENCO in an independent and is Subject Leader for SEN within the Independent Association of Prep Schools (IAPS). She has also been a lecturer on other Masters level courses in London. Penny has written and presented her MA research findings on Vocational Education and also on the Raviv Method for pupils with dyslexic, attention and focus difficulties at the British Educational Research Association (BERA) UK conferences.
